Adie is saying new words all the time and can repeat pretty much any word you ask her to, if she's in the mood. That doesn't mean she uses the proper word for everything. My current favorites are her words for food and water. She refuses to say the word "food", but says "eat" as a noun, and for "water" she says "ahhh", like the kind of ahhh you say after you've drank a refreshing glass of water. Obviously, she gets the connection, but she won't say the proper words. It makes me laugh. The other thing she does that makes me laugh is sometimes, instead of just saying "yes" in answer to a question, she'll enthusiastically say "yeah, yep, yes!" Language development is one of the most entertaining things to observe.

I love word developments! That is cute how she is putting the reaction of drinking water (Ahhh) with the actual substance. Smart kid. =)
