Disneyland, Day 2

Day 2 was spent in Disneyland proper and started out with some time to see some more characters.

After that, Chase had a chance to drive the car at Autopia. Adie was really mad that Sabrina didn't let her drive too. It made for a bit of a bumpy ride being with Chase.

What trip to Disney would be complete without a little girl getting to see the Disney princesses? There's more of these, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Throughout the day, we managed to hit some of Chase's favorite rides, such as the monorail and the fire engine.

The highlight of the day for me was taking Parker to see Mickey. Parker loves all things Mickey (he has a stuffed one he sleeps with at night). And we stopped by Mickey's house in Toon town to say hello. After about a 20 minute wait in line, they ushered us into a room with 3 other families. We were last in line of the 4 and Parker flipped out as soon as he saw Mickey. He was practically in tears by the time it was his turn. He was totally stoked though, and I guess that's really why you take your kids when they're that age, because he loved it.

After stopping by Mickey's house, we got to watch the sound and light parade. Adie loved seeing Ariel (Adie wore her Ariel pajamas all day).
At that point, Sabrina took the boys home, and left Adie and me to wander the park a little bit more. She got the chance to choose what rides to go on with me. So, we rode the carousal a couple times, bought some Minnie Mouse ears, and headed back to the hotel room where we watched the fireworks in the park from.

Love Parker's reaction to Mickey! So cute. How fun for your family to have this memorable trip.
